The Rescue Project: Expert Care for Every Animal
My career began in the kennels and catteries of rescue centres. I’ve seen first-hand that for many animals, the only thing standing between them and a "forever home" is a behavioural challenge—be it extreme shyness, reactivity, or the stress of the shelter environment.
Now, as I complete my degree in Canine and Feline Behaviour, I want to ensure that professional, science-based support isn't just a luxury for owned pets, but a lifeline for those still waiting for a family.
How Your Donation Helps
Not all rescues have the budget for a behavioural specialist. Your contributions allow me to:
Provide Free Consultations: I spend time on-site at local Cumbrian rescues, working with "long-stay" animals to help them overcome hurdles.
Staff Training: Helping shelter staff and volunteers understand body language and stress-reduction techniques.
Rehabilitation Kits: Providing enrichment toys, pheromone supports, and training equipment for dogs and cats currently in rescue.
Support the Journey
By donating, you aren’t just supporting my business—you are directly investing in the welfare of animals across our county. Whether it’s the cost of a bag of high-value training treats or a full behavioural assessment, every penny goes toward helping a rescue pet find their "New Chapter."
