Health and Safety
While we will always endeavour to ensure that training is delivered safely, in participating in training sessions or implementing advice from consultations all activities are entirely at the risk of the participant. Caring About Paws nor the owners or landlords of training venues, accept any responsibilities, whatsoever, for any injuries or losses sustained which are not covered by our business insurance.
Handlers and/or owners remain responsible for their dogs at all times and are advised to ensure they have adequate pet or household insurance cover for liability in the unlikely event of damage or injury caused by their dog to property or to a third party.
You are responsible for the behaviour and actions of your pet during training sessions.
Bookings
Bookings are not confirmed until full payment is received in advance for the first session. If you require an additional link to the payment process, please contact us via caringaboutpaws@gmail.com.
Refunds and Rescheduling
After a booking is received refunds are not likely to be given but will be assessed on a case by cases basis.
We do allow rescheduling of sessions however we ask for as much notice as possible.
Where a session has be rescheduled due to extenuating circumstances, such as weather, we will work with you to find an appropriate alternative date. We will not be liable for any losses or expenses arising from amendments to the sessions.
Photos and Videos
At times, we might take video or photographic images that we might share on social media or use for promotional materials. We will only show images and film that show clients and their pets in a good light.
If you would not be happy with this, please let us know. Otherwise, this allows us to use images taken in sessions. You have the right to ask us to remove an image if you wish.
Insurance and Liability
Pet insurance is highly recommended. Owners are responsible for all vet bills, no matter how they are incurred. We accept no responsibility for loss of, or injury to, you pet whilst training with us.
The owner of the pet is responsible for any and all harm or damage caused by their pet during training and agrees to indemnity Caring About Paws in full against any liability arising from such harm or damage to third parties.
All children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
We accept no responsibility for any damage to, theft of, or from your vehicle. Please do not leave valuables in your car and never leave any dogs unattended in a vehicle.
Caring About Paws does hold Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance.
Liability Waiver
I, the undersigned, am the owner or legal guardian of the above named pet and hereby acknowledge and agree that Caring About Paws, its owners, employees, contractors, and agents (collectively referred to as ‘the Company’ shall not be held liable for any injuries, accidents, illnesses, or damages that occur to my pet or myself during or as a result of the provision of pet training services.
I understand that pet training involves certain risks, including but not limited to interactions with other animals, traffic, environmental hazards, and weather conditions, which may result in injury or illness to my pet. I accept these risks and assume full responsibility for any and all injuries, damages or losses that may occur.
Owner Responsibilities
Health and Behaviour Disclosure: I certify that my pet is in good health and has not shown any aggressive behaviour towards other animals or humans beyond what is detailed above. I have disclosed all relevant medical and behavioural information to the company.
Equipment and Safety: I agree to provide appropriate and well-fitting equipment for my pet (e.g. collar, harness, lead).
Modifications
The company reserves the right to modify the terms of this contract at any time. The owner will be notified of any changes in writing.
